SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA might be rendering companies such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency mentioned it truly is alarmed with regards to the substantial number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office committed to service the area daily. here The service position established for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it hard for that Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to permit the servicing of all buyers and maximize access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.

For more SRD information, community members can call toll free during working days/hours on 0800 60 10 11 and WhatsApp on 082 046 8553. - SAnews.gov.za
